How to Setup VoxDesk?

Add Project

As soon as you login into VoxDesk, you’ll find an option to add project. Clink on add project > enter project name > give a project description > add project members > click on save

Integrate Twilio

  • Once you have created a project > click on Apps tab > scroll down and click on Twilio

  • Enter the account ID and auth token > click save

Integrate Amazon Polly

Amazon Polly is a cloud service by AWS, a subsidiary of Amazon, that converts text into spoken audio

  • Click on Apps tab > scroll down and click on Amazon Polly
  • Enter the access key, secret key and region > click save

Setup Phone Numbers

  • To set up phone numbers click on the "settings" icon on the right side of the screen

  • Select phone numbers from the drop down

  • Click on add phone number
  • Select Twilio from the drop down
  • Select the phone number you want to use > click save

Setup Caller IDs

To setup caller IDs - Click the settings icon from the right side of the screen - Select caller IDs from the drop down

  • Select the number you want to use as your caller ID from the drop down > click save

Setup Business Hours

Add your work hours here. Voxdesk will customize the call times specific to the time zones and locations of your customers.

  • Click the settings icon from the right side of the screen
  • Select the day you want to set up the business hours for
  • Enter the "time" day wise and click "save"

Setup Call Disposition

Call Disposition gives you a quick breakdown on the progress and state of your call.

  • Click the settings icon from the right side of the screen
  • Select call disposition from the drop down
  • Click on Add button at the bottom > Give name for the disposition > click save
  • To activate or deactivate disposition you can use the switch right next to any disposition

Setup Priority Order

You can use priority orders to organize your outbounds call on the basis of how important/suitable are they for your campaign.

  • Click the settings icon from the right side of the screen
  • Select priority order from the drop down
  • Drag and drop parameters in a sequence you find suitale

Setup Call Scripts

Personalize and automate your best call scripts using the call scripts function.

  • Click the settings icon from the right side of the screen
  • Select call scripts from the drop down
  • To add a new call script > click on "add" button at the bottom right corner

  • Give the call script a name and select filter condition from the drop down

Enter the pre-written talking points and convert them to speech using Text-to-speech (TTS) and customize the recorded speech according to your needs - when it should pause, what should be the speed of the audio, what pitch and audio volume and so on

  • Select pauses, speed, pitch, and volume for the text script.

  • Enter the text in the text box, you can add talking points and other related points.
  • To convert them into TTS you can choose the AI Engine, country, voice, ambience, volume and speed.
  • Make sure that before using TTS you should integrate Amazon Polly
  • Click on save to add the call script.

Setup Wrapup Time

Wrapup time is the time an agent spends on tasks related to a call after the call has ended.

  • To setup wrapup time click on the settings icon
  • Select wrapup time from the drop down
  • Select duration between 5 to 60 seconds > click save

Setup Wait Time

Specifying a timeout will set a limit, in seconds, for the dialer to wait for the contact to answer the call

  • To setup wrapup time click on the settings icon
  • Select wait time from the drop down
  • Select duration between 10 to 60 seconds > click save
